Snowstorm On The Way
Okay, looks like a really bad winter storm is on the way this evening, and on into tonight. Dad is currently out getting anything we might need before it hits, because it's expected to be really bad out there.
Currently, the temperature is 30 degrees Fahrenheit. It's supposed to go down to 9 degrees.
We're expected to get (this keeps changing every few minutes as I listen, so it might go up) 2-4 inches of snow, plus a half an inch of ice tonight. That's just the first wave, and they say it's likely that there will be power outages.
The next wave (not counting the sleet, apparently) will then either dump an additional 6 inches of snow, or cause it to be a grand total of 6 inches, I'm not sure. Either way, it's not good--especially since they're comparing it to how it was in 2004.
Back then, it was almost a month of being trapped indoors, because the snow was higher than our front door.
For those at
x_journal, if I don't respond when/if tagged for some reason tomorrow, that would be why. Just thought I would let people know, just in case.
