1. The first character you first fell in love with: Wesley
2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now: Fred/Illyria
3. The character everyone else loves that you don't: Groo. I never liked him.
4. The character you love that everyone else hates: Cordelia. I don't know if anyone hates her, but there were quite a few who didn't like her in season 4. (I didn't either, but she was better in season 5's You're Welcome.)
5. The character you used to love but don't any longer: Can't think of any.
Buffy
1. The first character you first fell in love with: Willow. (First episode I ever saw was Dead Man's Party in season 3.)
2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now: Xander
3. The character everyone else loves that you don't: Buffy
4. The character you love that everyone else hates: Giles (after season 7 quite a few probably hate him.)
5. The character you used to love but don't any longer: Spike
Highlander: The Series
1. The first character you first fell in love with: Methos
2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now: Joe Dawson and Hugh Fitzcairn. Whenever Fitzcairn was around, it was sure to be a great episode.
3. The character everyone else loves that you don't: Tessa. Never liked her.
4. The character you love that everyone else hates: James Horton
5. The character you used to love but don't any longer: Amanda. I stopped liking her after Highlander: The Raven started.
Dark Shadows (The 1960's version)
Just a note: I first saw this show, when it aired in reruns on the Sci-Fi Channel. The first storyline I saw was The Leviathan Storyline--which everyone hates, but I love.

2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now: Quentin Collins
3. The character everyone else loves that you don't: Maggie Evans. She was strong at the beginning, but just became the victim of the week after a certain point.
4. The character you love that everyone else hates: Julia Hoffman
5. The character you used to love but don't any longer: Angelique. She was ok for a while, but was just too spiteful. She was interesting when she tried to be good.
