Aquaman: The Legend Of Arthur Curry. In it, Aquaman attempts to learn the customs of land dwellers, failing a lot along the way, leading to various odd and funny situations.
Once he joins the JLA, it takes a while for him to realize people on land don't consider him their king, and realize nobody really cares if he's royalty or not.
What happens after that, is anybody's guess.

In the midst of his trying to avoid her, he has various odd things happen to him, (such as Wash getting him to help round up the black market beagles, and Zoe trying to shoot him when he walks in on her getting dressed) and assumes Inara must have cursed him--as one does, when they're Jayne.
Mal finally convinces Jayne that he is in fact the biggest idiot in the 'verse, and throws him into Inara's quarters.
They have tea--he doesn't want anything classy around him for too long, so he thinks of Vera and trashy space hookers (that are nothing like Inara) and drinks up.
And if that was too weird, just blame it on the headache I have.

Mal laments the fact that he is being forced to smuggle 100,000 pounds worth (the weight, not the money) of fish. The smell of which is stinking up the entire ship, and they probably won't be able to get it out for years.
When it turns out the fish are rare, and people are being killed over them (along with the buyer), Mal briefly tries selling them himself. After almost getting arrested, getting involved in a shootout, and having fish guts spray everywhere, he finally gives up.
The buyers of the fish are gone, and if they don't want rotting fish everywhere, they will have to eat them. Fish for breakfast, fish for lunch, and fish for dinner and snacks.
By the end of the year, Mal is so sick of fish that he shoots anyone who ever mentions the whole sorry debacle right in the foot, and briefly considers murdering anyone that says they want seafood whenever they are off the ship.
Inara agrees with him for once, and refuses to so much as consider dating him until he stops stinking of various species of fish. This takes about 3 years, during which people run away--fleeing the awful odor.
