Last of the Time Lords

What was changed in the Sci-Fi Channel’s airing of Last of the Time Lords? This is the list I have compiled so far, going by what I actually noticed, what people at the Doctor_Who Yahoo Group found, and at least one Doctor Who related group here on LJ. I'm not sure which one anymore. If anyone else spotted any other changes, let me know.

This is in no particular order.

-The "One Year Later" line was moved from where it originally was, to right as Martha is seen for the first time.

-The entire “I can’t decide” song scene with the Master was removed. It immediately cuts from Martha to the Master and the Doctor looking out the window, without any background music. From what I understand, the BBC was the one who cut this scene before giving it to other networks overseas. Without this scene, Lucy shooting the Master loses some of its sense.

-The burning of The Master's body was cut drastically from around 2 minutes (or less, I’m not sure) down to a few seconds--they cut to a commercial break, and then when you come back to Jack, Martha, and the Doctor you hear the very end of the dramatic music.

-Removed Martha’s mother trying to shoot the Master after time's reset. It immediately cuts from the Master being captured to the Doctor saying he should keep him.

-Martha phoning Tom at the end after leaving the Doctor was removed.

-The scene where Martha wears the perception filter and the Toclafane don’t see her was removed. There was also a conversation between Martha and Tom that was cut.

-The Master going to get a massage was removed--now the scene starts with the Doctor trying to use the laser screwdriver on the Master from what I could tell. Part of the scene where Jack tries to escape is also removed, but he still flirts with Tish and gets shot. Pretty much the entire uprising of the Jones family and the Doctor is gone, except for the laser screwdriver scene I mentioned.

-Professor no longer says she never thought she would miss Bill Gates. Or did I just miss it?

-Martha no longer gives the Professor flowers after the paradox is broken.

-The part at the beginning regarding Earth being off limits was removed.

-In the end credits, the mention of Doctor Who returning for Christmas with Voyage of the Damned was removed. This was done by the BBC, understandably--since it wouldn’t be shown at Christmas in the U.S.

Here’s something that wasn’t changed, but for a moment I thought it was. During the Doctor’s Tinkerbelle moment, paper and things go flying. I actually shouted and said “Oh, no! The paper doesn’t hit Jack in the face anymore!” Moments later, it did and Mom just stared at me. I shrugged. Yes, I’m a geek and I’m not ashamed to admit it.

The uncut version is, thankfully, available on TV Links.
