Memes, Quizzes, and A Beta Request
Here’s the first meme, taken from snowgrouse.
Ask me to write a first kiss between characters I am familiar with.
Acceptable fandoms I'll do this for include: Torchwood, Doctor Who and Highlander. I almost added Life on Mars to the list, but I haven’t finished watching the series--despite the fact I read through the Wikipedia article on the show, to see how it all ended.
The next meme I’ve already posted before, and rather recently, I think. However, it’s to answer questions byidontlikegravy.
Leave me a casual comment of no particular significance, like a lyric to your current favorite song, your favorite kind of sandwich, or maybe your favorite game. Any remark, meaningless or not.
I will respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.

1)Do you ever edit fic after you've posted, and if not, are there any you want to change?
I would only do that if I saw a rather glaring error. Otherwise, I tend to leave the story as is. However, if I went back and read it and saw an incorrect spelling I would likely go in and fix that.
2)Is the grass in Kentucky really blue?;)
I think that’s just a myth. *laughs* However, there are supposedly spots in certain areas where it almost looks it if the light hits it just right.
3)Cos I'm an unoriginal sod: Jack or the Doctor?
The Doctor, without a doubt.
4)Who would be your five dream dinner guests (5+you=6)?
This ought to be interesting—especially if you mean fictional characters. My choices would be: Methos, Jack Harkness, Sam Tyler, Toshiko Sato, and Illyana Rasputin. Jack would probably think Sam was the Master, and if Sam were talking to the Test Card Girl again, he wouldn’t really notice.
5)Are there any movies (or books) that people rave about that you can't see what the fuss is about?
Oh, without a doubt. Nothing immediately springs to mind, but there are many movies and books like that. Maybe shows like Law and Order, and CSI. I’ve never really liked cop shows. (Excluding Monk and Psych, apparently)
In other news, I received my assignment for the Doctor and Martha in 1969 ficathon. I can definitely do this one, and it looks to be fun.
Also, I’ve finished writing Banana Nirvana (I just have to type it up, and add anything that needs adding--should be completely done by this evening) and I should post it sometime tomorrow. Do I have any volunteers for someone to beta read this?
Lastly, the quizzes--I originally put them at the top of this post, but it centered everything. I couldn't do anything with coding to fix it, so I moved it to the bottom.
