James E. Reilly Tribute, And More Questions And Answers
For those that are interested, there’s a funny tribute to the bizarre plots that James E. Reilly wrote for Passions (and for the Marlena possession storyline, on Days) over here. They also link to a few of the scenes from when Marlena was possessed.
Oh, and for those that are interested, the third Ninja Turtles movie was added over at SurftheChannel. I hadn’t seen it since it was in theaters.Whenever the first two movies were aired on The Family Channel, the third one was never shown. Well, I was proven wrong moments before I posted this, when I discovered they will be showing the first two movies, as well as the third movie. The third one airs on The Family Channel at 7 PM tonight.
And now, some questions and answers for the Interview Meme—fromdragonbat2006.
1) How long have you been involved in X-Men fandom? Have you gone back to get back issues from before you became involved?
Probably since I was 2 or 3, when I bought my first X-Men comic from the local grocery store. When I was a few years older, I spent a lot of time in comic book stores tracking down more and more issues.
2) Who is your favorite character to roleplay and why?
That seems to be a tie between Illyana Rasputin, and Rahne Sinclair (with Meggan quickly catching up, to possibly break that tie).
With Illyana Rasputin, it’s probably just because she has always been my favorite character, and I like to write for her. With Rahne, she’s my second favorite. I’ve always loved the character’s personality, how she slowly grows stronger (character-wise) over time, and the things she’s managed to overcome and still stay sane--well, up until she was ruined by a few writers in the comics. First, with her becoming someone that apparently rides a motorcycle and seduces her students. Second, when she recently ate Reverend Craig--at least, going by the![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)

3) If you could put one incarnation of The Doctor in another incarnation's storyline, which one would it be? What would he do differently?
The Eighth Doctor, in season 3. Meeting Martha Jones, going through pretty much the entire season. Because of some people on my friends list that have written fantastic fanfic involving The Eighth Doctor and Martha, that was my first thought. Of course, if you mean a specific episode, I think it would be interesting to see him in Human Nature/Family of Blood.
4) What prompted the name change from faith_of_borg?
I picked the name when I was obsessed with both the Buffyverse, and Star Trek. My interest in Buffy related things was slowly dying, and my Star Trek interest was pretty much gone. So I decided to pick something that I wouldn’t lose interest in. Calliope is from my interest in Greek Mythology--she was one of the Muses. Since I’ve been interested in it pretty much since I was 2, I doubt I’ll get sick of it.
I like writing, so I threw in the “pen” part of the name.
5) Have you always lived in KY? Do you see yourself staying there, or moving on?
Yes, I’ve lived here my entire life. Currently--barring any natural disasters or anything--I’ll probably stay here.
