Yes, here’s yet another Eleventh Doctor poll, for those who haven’t seen enough of them.

In other polls, I’ve seen John Simm as an option. I can only see him as The Master,(or Sam Tyler) and it would be confusing for the Doctor to look like an enemy. Of course, Jack's reaction would be priceless. I’ve seen the suggestion of Catherine Tate, so I threw her into the poll--hey, he always wanted to be ginger. Why not?

I added an Other option because I don’t know nearly enough English actors, and someone else might have a good suggestion.

Someone on the BBC boards suggested Alan Davies, and, you know, he'd make a pretty hilarious Doctor.

And someone else (obviously a QI fan), retorted with the suggestion of Stephen Fry, to add a bit of intellectual braininess to the proceedings. :-D

Patrick Stewart is going to be playing the Time Meddler, a very iconic role like that Master so that puts him very much out of the running. I want either Bill Nighy (hopefully we'll get grumpy!pants doctor again, like William Hartnell) or Bill Bailey.

"John Hannah" -- at first I saw that as "Jack Hanna (http://www.jackhanna.com/)" and went into a giggling fit.

Personally, I think Robert Downey Jr would be aces at it, but I think he'd be aces at anything and he's busy for the next few years playing a billionaire playboy with a Peter Pan Complex flying around in a suit of armor, so yeah, I'll just be over here in the corner with my sad little fangirl self.

Was Joanna Lumley in Curse of the Fatal Death? If so, she would likely work out well.

Never seen Guy Flanagan in anything (I've heard of Being Human, but never seen it) so I can't comment on that.

I may be one of the few people who has never seen him in anything. I've heard of him, though--only because everyone mentions him in every Who related regeneration poll I've seen.
