Some Items of Interest

Fright Night is going to be remade. I’ve only seen the first movie, and I loved that one—I don’t think it needs a remake. By the way, anyone know if the second movie is worth tracking down?

BBC News has a video interview with Matt Smith.

Anyone that hasn’t voted in the Rahne poll, please go here and do so. It closes Friday afternoon. Currently, I believe that Emma Taylor-Isherwood is in the lead with 5 votes, and a redheaded Georgia Moffett in second place with 3 votes. Oh, and keep in mind that if anyone feels like Erin Chambers would work, then vote for Other, as I mentioned yesterday. I don’t think I mentioned it in the poll post--I only linked to some icons of hers.

I wish Moffat and Smith would get off their behinds and put the Doctor's eleventh wardrobe together, so cartoonists can start drawing him.

OMG I'm having a flashback to Chris Sarandon's clavicles from that movie.

Fright Night 2 is AWFUL. Avoid it at all costs.

Second movie definitely not as good as the first.

And if they remake this movie, I am not watching it. At all. Too many dear childhood memories of this movie to do that. Fright Night was my first vampire movie so I hold it near and dear to me :P

It's a brilliant, fun movie. And there is no way they could possibly pass something that silly but fun off nowadays. Not without making the wrong type of jokes and turning the movie itself into a joke.

Sure, there was humour. There was also the sexy, alluring vampire (I discovered this movie on my 13th birthday when I had a horror movie night with friends planned,) the wolf boy, the vampire bat model (no need for CG when you can just make something as cool as that,) the horror theme, the nightclub scene...the tune that gets stuck in your head, let's not forget that! :P

This movie was like the Ghostbusters for me. Funny, but scary too. I love both dearly. Except I discovered Ghostbusters much earlier than Fright Night. And it is still one of my all time favourite movies.

And this possibly makes no sense whatsoever.
