RIP Cat

Well, the cat is now out of any suffering she was in. Around 1:30 PM, I kept hearing a strange sound: scrape, hiss of something, wheeze. Checked, and it was the cat--apparently, she had been trying to make her way to my room, and just fell over. The weird noises were her trying to breathe, with her mouth open. Mom felt her, and her front and back paws were ice cold to the touch. She attempted to follow Mom, and fell down again.

So that was why she was laying around. The congestive heart failure was what got to her--Dad rushed her off to the vet, and now she’s out of pain.

ETA: And something very, very strange. Here, and where Dad is digging, it feels like it's 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The news says it's 40 degrees, and very chilly. Very, very strange.
