I saw part of an episode of Gilmore Girls once (Dad likes it) and it just seemed like people trying too hard to be as witty and fast talking (and awkward) as humanly possible without pausing to breathe. It was during a dinner scene that involved John Aniston from Days of Our Lives, and that's all I'm sure of.
