Where In The World Is...
Jim Cantore? I've been expecting to hear that he would turn up in Paducah or somewhere close, like Illinois. With the horrific ice storm last time around, he came and stayed for the duration. Because that's what he does.
Given the fact other places are going to be getting (according to The Weather Channel, since the local news hasn't aired at all today) tornadoes on the other side of our blizzard, he's headed for Mississippi. Best of luck to them.
...And continue to wish everyone here luck in case of power outages, as the foot of wet snow, up to 50 mph winds, and sleet are due to begin shortly.
(For those new to my friends list and curious, be sure to check out the tag 'winter devastation of 2009' to see what happened to everyone the last time around. All the trees in the yard shattered back then, and there are pictures of it. For faster access, I've tagged this post with it.)
