I live in an apartment building and since we have 3 floors I guess no one wants to drag their children up and down 3 flights of stairs. Can't say as I blame them. Besides you never know what the weather is gong to be, or the trustworthiness of people you don't know. In established neighborhoods it's different, kids running to the doors of people's homes. At least you know they won't be pulling a midnight move if things suddenly go wrong.
