My Day...
Wow, today has been a weird day.
First, my family and I were going to go out to eat. That was pushed back for a while, because we had a gas leak. The repairman fixed it, and we went to go out to eat around 11 AM.
On the way, dad had to come to a sudden stop because somebody pulled out in front of him and just stopped their car. We almost hit them, but barely made it out of the way.
We got to the place, and ate. On the way out, around 31 black kids suddenly arrived. They were shouting at each other, and a couple seemed very angry. I asked my mom: "Gang War?" A few then started joking around, and I asked: "Friendly gang war?" Turns out they were all criminals. They were from some sort of Correctional Prison Facility for Juveniles.
So, either their punishment is to eat there, or it's a reward for good behavior.
After we got home, we heard on the news that a repairman was fixing a gas leak somewhere else, and messed up. He blew himself up--he survived with a lot of burns. I don't think it's the same guy that fixed this house, though.
After that, you wouldn't think anything else would happen, would you? Earthquake. It didn't last very long, just a couple of big bangs and a little shaking.
And that is my day so far. And it's only noon!

Except for one that hit once at 10 PM at night, when I was asleep. The bed started shaking for about a minute. That was a big surprise, since it was a 4.0.
This one, though, probably barely registered at all.

Food that good, huh? ;)

Well, hopefully the rest of your day is calm and relaxing :) *hugs*
I admit, even though I've been in earthquakes, I've never been in one powerful enough to shake things (I still say the photos of Old Meckering are fakes )

Then, there was the time in elementary school when there was one right before school started. I hadn't left the house yet. At the time, there were also construction workers building our garage, so I assumed to shaking was from that. When I got to school, everyone had to stay outside, until it was proven safe.
