The Appointment....And More.....
First, the appointment. I left at 8:30 AM for my appointment--it wasn't actually scheduled until 9:30. As you can tell, I'm a very early person. :D
I sat in the waiting room until 9:25, which is when they finally called me back there. I sat in a room and waited until 9:45. I was afraid they had forgotten me at first. :)
Everything seems fine, I just have to wait to find out the results of the test. I know it should be fine, since the doctor hasn't personally called ordering me to the hospital, like the time when I was anemic.
In other news....my horrible neighbor who lives across the street finally moved out. Yay! She had not mowed her yard for over a year---it was literally almost 6 feet tall. My cat would get lost over there at times. Another neighbor's kid lost a baseball in the yard---it was never found. Also, sometimes my cat might go over there. If the garage door was up, she would come out and close it--even if she knew that my cat had walked in.
The poor cat was stuck in there all night a few times. She wouldn't open it even if my family told her what happened.
I think she was evicted since she hadn't paid her bills in around 3 years. The place that evicted her is now mowing the lawn. It's been 4 hours, and they still aren't done. I pity the poor man who has that for a job.

Glad that all is well..
Ouch that would not be a fun job mowing that tall of grass.

Good to hear everything seems to be all right :)

You could try surfing the internet or something while you wait

Must've been mostly weeds, too, untended all that time and able to get that tall... maybe she was trying to not let the world see her for what she was. Really charming, locking your cat in like that... >:(

They're trying to re-discover what colour the house is painted with?
Sounds like there may be more than a mower needed... maybe whipper-snipper a path in, then chainsaw through the rest

She was just a very, very odd person.

True, we all want a little me-time, especially in times of depression (I don't know if I've ever gone that far, but definately been way down in the dumps), but that sounds more like self-to-the-exclusion-of-all-else.

After a certain point, my mom didn't care about that anymore. The cat stayed with us, but that woman was always avoiding everyone.
Now she claims to have Lupus. I don't think she does, since she never tells the truth.
She was just....odd.

I hope she doesn't. I lost a friend to Lupus in January. :(
We thought, way back when, that she'd have another ten years or so, but in the end, she only had two...

I know this because my mom watches all the time. :D
