Back From The Dentist

I just got back from the dentist. A few things.

1. The part of the tooth that fell off? It wasn't a tooth, it was just a filling. That's been fixed, thankfully.

2. The reason for the mystery pain? The nerve in a tooth was dying. The reason most of the pain is gone now, is because the tooth has probably died. According to the dentist: If the tooth is in severe pain, and nothing stops it--except for drinking something cold, then there is a problem with the nerve in the tooth.

They did an X-Ray while I was there. Since the filling they did was temporary (on the other tooth), I'll go back in two weeks for a permanent one. They'll do another X-Ray, and see how the nerve looks. And if it's completely dead.

Also, it looks like all of my wisdom teeth are coming in normally. There shouldn't be a problem with them. Hopefully.

ETA: Oh, and when I got home? The door repair people were finally there. They had started working while I was gone. (Thankfully, Dad was there.)
