Sean, I just e-mailed this to you, so you don't need to read it again if you don't want to. :lol:

One of the books that Mom got for me earlier in the week was the hardcover of Green Lantern: Rebirth. I just finished reading it, and it was great. There was an alternate ending described in the questions and answers section at the end. In the one that was drawn/written, Parallax jumped into Ganthet’s body. And caused him to almost destroy everyone. All the Green Lanterns banded together and defeated Parallax, before trapping him in the Power Battery again.

Geoff John’s original idea was to have Parallax possess The Spectre. And then, it would have jumped into Batman. Batman/Parallax would then have gone on the run, chased by Hal Jordan, Black Canary, Green Arrow, Nightwing and Robin. Parallax then causes Batman to attack Jim Gordon, steal a gun and go on a rampage shooting a few criminals. Tim tries to talk him out of it, and tries to get through to Bruce—he gets shot.

Tim lays there bleeding on the ground, and Hal stops Bruce/Parallax from using the gun to kill Tim. After a big fight, Parallax jumps out of Bruce and tries to possess Hal again. It doesn’t work, and Parallax is caught. Batman apologizes to Hal, because he knows what Hal went through now.

I think I would have liked that ending better.

Someone? If you haven't all ready, please write a fanfic where that happens to Batman! I would seriously love to see that.
