Cartoons That Few Remember…
Yes, I dug through Youtube again. I also found quite a few classic shows--classics, for me at least. The rest of the world probably either never saw these shows, or didn’t watch them enough to remember them. Beneath the cut, you will find quite a few of these.
The intro for The Incredible Hulk. This was from the early 80’s—I loved it when I was little.
And the transformation scene.
The trailer for He-Man And She-Ra: Secret of the Sword. Who knew it was at the theatre?! I remember watching it on television. And after checking IMDB, it was at the theatre in 1985. I was probably busy going to see (and being traumatized by) Rainbow Brite And The Star Stealer at the time.
I found The Inhumanoids! Does anyone else remember this show?
And another show that probably no one will remember. Visionaries. Here’s an entire episode.
Did anyone ever watch Madballs? I loved it at the time. As if you needed more proof I was really morbid...
Sadly, even though I was able to find these shows they didn’t have Moon Dreamers or Rose Petal Place. Or Star Fairies. I might be the only person left who remembers the latter.
The intro for The Glo Friends. For years, I thought the name was Glow Worms.
The Popples Intro.
Rainbow Brite cereal commercial.
Part of the original Rainbow Brite movie. Not the one with the Starstealer. This is the one where Rainbow Brite had to save a baby, met that horse that flew and defrosted him, fought a vulture, and brought color to the world. I used to have a few minutes (possibly the final 30 minutes) of this on VHS, but I have never seen the entire thing.
An episode of Silverhawks. Look up Silverhawks at Youtube and you can find a few more episodes.
An episode of The Snorks.
The theatrical trailer for Return to Oz. Raise your hand if this movie traumatized you as a child. Who here remembers Princess Momba taking off her head, and all of the heads screaming at once when Dorothy breaks in? That scene is actually uploaded to Youtube, by the way.
ETA: Okay, the link to the Rainbow Brite movie is being weird. You apparently have to sign in before you can watch. I don't know why, since there isn't any bad content. Youtube must think there is.
