The Last Unicorn, Unico, and Nostalgia In General
I found a few clips of The Last Unicorn and both Unico movies over on Youtube, so I thought a few people on my friends list might want to see them.
The trailer for The Last Unicorn—I never knew Christopher Lee was in it.
Very end of The Last Unicorn, from what I can tell.
And another clip.
Unico—I think this is from the first movie.
What looks like a music video made from part of the second Unico movie--Unico’s Magic Island. Just put the music on mute, and watch if you just want to see the movie. Looks like we’ve found the source of why ventriloquist dummies and things like that are a bit freaky to me...
Clip 1.
Clip 2.
And, finally, I’ve been reading threads over at the IMDB message boards about what movies and shows traumatized everyone as a child. For me, I would have to say Return to Oz, Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer, Alice in Wonderland (4 hour version--not scary anymore, except for the length), Mr. Boogedy (I'm over it now) and The Witches. Oh, and Legend--I have never been able to make it even halfway through that movie.
I probably would have been traumatized by The Black Cauldron, too, if I had been allowed to see it back then. Anyone on my friends list have any movies or tv shows that traumatized them when they were younger?
Oh, and looks like The Last Unicorn will be shown on a channel called Flix all this month. So I’ll finally get to see it again.
