The water went down in most areas—at least, the areas that Mom and I drove through to and from church, anyway. Tons of uprooted trees, broken tree limbs, and a sagging power line that may have just been repaired.
Forty tornadoes in one night—not last night, but the night before. Mayfield was underwater and had to be evacuated. Haven’t heard how things are doing now, though.
If the rain hadn’t stopped here, I would have really needed an ark.

No. I inherited this color from my father.

A t-shirt mostly.

Brown.

No--surprisingly, I never did when I was little, either.

Tough question. I almost said when Gwen died, but it was probably when the preacher left the church I go to after 20 years. It was one huge sobfest. (I don't sob--I quietly tear up.)
