Cooking Rice In A Crock Pot...

My aunt has a question, and Mom didn't know the answer, so I thought I would ask my friends list.

Has anyone here ever put rice in a crock pot? If so, what happened? They think it might expand or blow up. It would be in there for overnight, and we would like to know before she tries it.

If it helps at all, it's just chicken and rice in the crock pot.
