There seems to be a bit of panic going around the friends list this morning, as quite a few LJ employees were laid off without warning. The rumor going around earlier was that it was 20 out of 28 fired, but in reality it’s more like 13. More information can be found via cleolinda over here. For those that feel the need to back everything up, liz_marcs has links to ways to save journals over here.
As I have a permanent account, I’ll be staying until the very end--that, and I don't think Livejournal is going to just vanish without a trace with no warning. If Livejournal ever does go away, however, I can always be found over at Insanejournal, with the same username as here. It’s rarely updated, as I mainly just read the friends list over there. I have my Doctor Who fanfic over at Teaspoon And An Open Mind, so I won’t lose that, at least.
In other news, for those that are interested, the new trailer for Being Human can be found here.
I’ve also tracked down the two movies (Ruby In The Smoke and The Shadow in the North) Matt Smith did with Billie Piper--I’ll watch those later, and see how well the guy can act.
