Poll
The temperature is currently 4 degrees Fahrenheit outside—I believe we’re expected to hit negative numbers sometime tonight. No snow or anything so far—well, one road nearby has ice, but that’s just because of the fire trucks spraying water on a burning restaurant. When Parker’s Drive-In (there for 28 years, and apparently a total loss now) caught on fire a little before 6 AM, they started spraying water.
While they were spraying, it was turning to ice. So they started slipping and sliding into the street. As a result, part of that street is now ice. However, the city workers came out and poured salt and some sort of chemical—but because it’s so cold, it’s not working. The good news is that it's only half that street.
In fanfic related news, I’ve finished the beginning section of the OT3 fanfic. Keep in mind that this is before anything actually happens, and it’s nowhere near done yet—it’s currently up to 1115 words.
Oh, and because the fanfic title poll seemed so close, I’m starting another poll, with just the top two options.
