The Three Musketeers

The day before yesterday, I was watching the 1993 version of The Three Musketeers. It has Charlie Sheen as Aramis, Kiefer Sutherland as Athos, and Oliver Platt (who I’ve never heard of before) as Porthos…and Chris O’Donnell as D’Artagnan. Also, Tim Curry as Cardinal Richelieu—his performance and one or two other scenes are the only things about this movie that I remembered from the last time I watched it.

The best part? Paul McGann is in it—in two roles. The first role is a guy named Girard (that’s the IMDB spelling) that really hates D’Artagnan for sleeping with his sister, and has vowed revenge. He’s very screechy and clumsy, but funny. Apparently, he also played one of the guards (someone named Jussac) later on, but I missed him. The one other scene I remembered of this movie from years ago, was the end scene with Paul McGann getting chased by dozens of Musketeers, with McGann screaming and flailing in terror.

I found the opening scene with McGann, for those interested in watching—watch to the very end of the clip to see him mess up a stunt involving jumping over what might be a large tree limb. And here he is being chased at the end—skip to the 2:22 part to see him. His hair…so nicely styled for the 1700’s. *laughs*

Also, has anyone else been having trouble with Hollow Art’s website this morning?

ETA: Never mind on that last question. The site's working for me again.
