Update on the cat: She’s acting stronger—we let her out to use the bathroom, since she refuses to use the new litter box we put in the house. She used the bathroom, and then ran across the street, and sharpened her claws on a tiny tree. It’s a very small tree, which was planted after the ice storm destroyed everything else. Yesterday, she had a visitor, too. Toby. He escaped from his yard, went through the field out back, and then made his way around to our yard—they had discussion through the door. She meowed, he wiggled happily like he was hearing some good news. She moved to sit against the door, I guess so he could have a better look at her.

He watched her for a little bit—when I went outside to pet him, he stuck his head inside to see her better for a moment. When it was time to go home, he went willingly with Dad for a moment (we have our own leash for him, since he escapes so often) and then took off, still attached to his leash. After a few minutes, Dad got him back inside the neighbor’s fence.

Oh, and yesterday, I watched To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything—Julie Newmar, since it was on BET. I think I liked it, but I’m not entirely sure. Patrick Swayze in drag looked like someone, but I’m not sure who. Maybe Bea Arthur. John Leguizamo in drag looked like Geena Davis at certain times--and Eva Longoria at others.

It would also appear as though the LJ feeds working again was temporary. They didn’t work yesterday, and they haven’t worked today.

ETA: I stand corrected on that last bit. The feed for Cracked is working again, at the very least.
