Couple of Fannish Items
Signed up for the Walk Into A Bar Ficathon a few minutes ago. I’ll be writing the Tenth Doctor going into a bar—and depending on who the mods select for me, he’ll meet someone from Ghostbusters, Dark Shadows, Merlin, or Highlander: The Series.
And for
dark_fest, I’ve managed to narrow it down to these four prompts, and started a poll. However, because there was too much text for it to handle, I’ve just numbered them. Beneath the cut, you’ll find the prompts.
1. Doctor Who, Doctor & Master or Doctor/Master, it was an eight-year old Doctor who ended up with drums in his head and the Master's been trying to keep him in check all these years. (I have a sneaking suspicion that the Doctor would be worse than the Master ever thought about being.)
2. Ghostbusters (movie), Peter / or & Ray, Vigo the Carpathian left a lot of post-possession hypnotic suggestions in Ray's psyche. A lot. They're not even sure what's Ray and what's the suggestions anymore. And Peter's the only one with enough knowledge of both psychology and parapsychology to even begin to pick through the wreckage of his friend.
3. Sherlock Holmes (2009), Holmes/Watson, AU, they say there's a fine line between genius and insanity, but this time "they've" drawn the line in the wrong place; Holmes is in a mental institution, his doctor, Watson, has to break him out.
4. Torchwood - What if Jack can't be turned into a proper cyberman, but he can still have his emotions removed via chip. Jack-as-cyberman?
