Neighbor's Kids....

The neighbor's kids have apparently gotten hold of firecrackers and fireworks. They are now blowing them up. It sounds like machine guns going off every few minutes, and is incredibly annoying.

They are doing that in their backyard---in the same area as their dog Toby. Poor thing is probably terrified.

And they are throwing the fire crackers at each other...which blow up right over their heads.

I used to live next door to some people who would shoot off firecrackers in the middle of their horse pasture. The poor horses would be running around in a panic, and I always hoped they'd run right over the stupid bastards.

Hopefully the dog will get so freaked it'll bite one of the kids and send them crying into the house before they burn themselves too badly. Easier to get stitches than a skin graft.

This dog is incredibly sweet. He doesn't bite, he hides. I hope he's hiding now.

to be fair as long as the fire crackers aren't going off in cosed hands the only real danger is them going off and getting in eyes...a fire cracker usually won't cause a burn if it hits someone as it goes off...it's being contained that makes it hurt...

Call the SPCA. I don't care if they immolate themselves in an act of social Darwinism, but they're torturing the dog...
