The Eleventh Hour

In no particular order, my thoughts on the episode.

-I managed to download a copy through Demonoid—it took a little bit, seeing as there were over 1000 other people trying to download it at the same time. Not as long as it would have if I had tried Megaupload—the servers were under too much strain there.

-It’s too soon for me to tell whether or not I’ll like Amy. Although, I did like that Amy refused to look away when the Doctor was changing clothes.

-Matt Smith is great. I loved him, even if there are a few moments where he seemed to be acting more like the Tenth Doctor. Mom won’t watch, because she doesn’t think he looks real. More like a CGI character with missing eyebrows. I like him, though.

-Fish fingers in custard. Disgusting, but I’m somehow not that surprised the Doctor would like it. He hates beans? So do I.

-Glowing doors. Never a good sign—when a door glows with an otherworldly light, you run. You don’t go in there. Learned from Ghostbusters, Mr. Boogedy, Bride of Boogedy, and many other places.

-Giant snake creature reminded me a little of the CGI done for the Master when he was a snake in the tv movie. Other than that, I didn’t care for Prisoner Zero.

-I liked the new opening credits sequence. New logo seemed better (at least to me) once everything else was around it.

-I need an Eleventh Doctor icon—I’ll find one soon.

-Moffat has probably caused children to be afraid of giant eyes and cracks in walls now. Or just people talking in unison, if Children of Earth hadn’t already caused that.

-I’m so grateful he won’t say “who da man?” ever again.

-“You just summoned deadly aliens! Aliens of death! And now you're... taking your clothes off." I think I like Rory.

-Loved the montage of all the previous Doctors, with the Eleventh walking through it.

-I didn’t like the weird tracking thing, or whatever it was with the phones. Or whatever it was. Was it supposed to be in the Doctor’s head, like that weird Wiki in Waters of Mars?

-I think I like the new TARDIS interior—I love that the Doctor said she was sexy. I love the fact the Doctor had to use a grappling hook in the beginning of the episode, just to get out. Although, I wonder—just how long was the line it was attached to? I love he called himself a madman with a box.

-No idea who Patrick Moore was, or why they were stunned about him. I’ll look him up later.

-"Do I have a face no-one listens to? Again." Just as good in context.
