To Those On My Friends List, Who Like JSA....
I have never read a JSA comic. I would like to try the series and see if I like it, though. Especially since I have heard great things about it. What would be the best trade paperback to start with, if I don't know anything about that series?

Was it released under another title?

I would of course recommend jumping into the beginning with "Justice Be Done" because it introduces everyone and collect the trades from there. The first storyline is a little confusing though, and I think I might have called it crap when I first read it.
What pulled me into JSA was the "Injustice Be Done" storyline in 16-20. It starts right after a large component of the team leaves and the beginning is a little bit of a down-time issue before bad things start happening. It's collected in the Return of Hawkman trade, which also includes the Return of Hawkman story (imagine that). After reading that and maybe the one afterward, you can go back and read Justice Be Done, and Darkness Falls to get some of the backstory on why Atom-Smasher does the things he does later. I'd also recommend, if you have any chance of finding it on Mile High, JSA #5, which explains Sand's powers and introduces Mr. Terrific.
Hmm, now I'm inspired to do a rundown of the JSA personnel like I did for Gotham Central. Of course they HAVE an SF&O (http://www.dccomics.com/secret_files/) on the DC page. But if anyone thought it'd be helpful, I'd be happy to do it.
