Illness Part 2

Mom and dad are much better now. Unfortunately, all day yesterday I was sick. So, if I didn't unscreen a comment, I'm sorry. I just fixed that.

I was sick from all of Sunday night through Monday evening. My sister was sick at the same time, so we had to take turns being sick. I'm finally starting to feel better, I'm just exhausted.

ETA: OK, I just read everything that I missed on my Friends List. I went as far as skip=700 before seeing anything that I had all ready read. I never knew it went that far.

Ugh, you too? I caught something as well that knocked me out for the better part of Sunday. Thankfully I'm feeling better, but I'm still pretty tired, which I find one of the more offensive parts of being sick.

I think I probably have what you have. It sounds like it, anyway. I'm in the exhaustion stage, too.

Guess it's going around, whatever it is. I've tentatively labeled it a low-level flu, because that's what it feels like.

I think you're right. And until last year, I had never had the flu before.

This year, there weren't any flu shots. That's probably why I caught it this time.

I've never done the flu shot thing--due in large part to a severe needle phobia--but I didn't used to get it. Bronchitis, sure. Strep throat, yo. But I didn't really start getting the flu until a couple of years ago. It's never been bad enough that I've had to go to the hospital (in part because Phaed makes good on his threat to drag me off to the doctor by my behind foot), but there have certainly been times when I've been lying in bed, staring up at the ceiling and realizing, "Oh. This is why flu used to kill so many people."

Glad you are all feeling better, being sick this time of the year really stinks :(
