Fannish Items of Interest

The best uses of steampunk on television.

Short clip for season 2 of Sherlock.

The season premiere of Lost Girl has been brought down to a PG rating, rather than the usual TV-14.

Someone actually made plushie proton packs.

In an incredibly stupid and ill-advised moment, a man dressed as Spider-Man went out during Hurricane Irene and tried to catch the waves at Virginia Beach. No word as to whether or not he survived that, as the clip ends as he runs into the waves following the interview.

Hannah Murray has been cast in the new Dark Shadows movie. She will play a “hippie chick.”

In Doctor Who’s Let’s Kill Hitler, there was a scene that was cut due to how expensive it would have been to film—watch it here as a motion comic. They showed it during the commercial break when the episode aired on BBC America.
