I was ten when the Remo Williams movie came out and thus probably eleven when my pal and I rented the VHS from the corner store and we loved it. I've seen bits and pieces of it in the decades since and yeah, some of it would not fly now but on the whole it's a pretty good take on a pulp series that should have gotten a lot more attention and traction than it did at the time. The novels are a totally different kind of bonkers and you should try at least one for the sake of it.
