Just A Random Question....

seandc and I started to talk about the movie Legend. And the unicorn in it, which led to a mention of the movie Unico. It was a cartoon about a little unicorn.

Not to be confused with The Last Unicorn, though.

Is there anyone else who ever saw this movie when they were little? It might be Japanese, but I'm not sure. I know I am probably one of the few who has ever heard of it.

I've heard of Unico, but I haven't seen it.

The Last Unicorn is awesome, though. Apparently, they're making a live-action version.

Peter S. Beagle is writing the script, and a lot of the same actors have returned in some way for the film. Also, Johnathan Rhys-Meyers is playing Schmendrick (and he's adorable.) *g*

Two things:

1) I'm doing a presentation on The Last Unicorn today, so that aspect of the post amused me. Small world.

2) OMG!!eleventyone! I have been trying to get ahold of Unico forever. I remember loving it when I was, like, four, so there's this chance I'll be horribly disappointed. But, man, I want to see that show again.
