Fairy Tale Theatre?

I've remembered an old show I watched when I was little. It may have been Fairy Tale Theatre.

I have no idea who the guest stars were in the episode I remember. Just a couple of events.

There was a woman who desparately wanted radishes (Or rootabegas--started with an R, that's all I'm sure of.) The husband went to get them, and something may have forced him to make a deal if he wanted them. (I think the woman was pregnant.)

I think he may have sold his first born child to the one he made the deal with.

I'm not sure if it was Rapunzel, or something else.

ETA: Oh, good. The mood theme works again. :D

Not sure about the show, but that's certainly the first part of Rapunzel.

Yup. She was pregnant and craving rampion. He was stealing them from a witch's garden and she caught him and forced him to trade the baby for the rampion. :)

Thank you. That's the exact scene I was thinking of. (And all I could remember was the food started with an R.)
