Meme 4: The Voyage Home
(Yes, the title is a spoof of Star Trek.)
1. Comment with any ship from a fandom that you know I like, or at least have some knowledge about.
2. I will ramble for 100 words about aforementioned ship. This may be incoherent gushing or exclamations of disgust, depending on what it is.
3. Put this on your LJ, if you are so inclined.

Since you used a ST quote - Janeway/Seven of Nine. :)

I don't really know of any events on the show, or much about the characters. From what I've heard about their personalities, they wouldn't be good together, though.
(The fact that the actress who plays Seven of Nine used to go to a local high school, but lies about that fact doesn't make me like her much anyway.)

Inara Serra / Malcolm Reynolds
(see? I'm being good with this )

Inara/Mal. I think they would have been great for each other. Despite everything they've been through and that Mal has done, Inara remains loyal to him.
Mal was oblivious to Inara's feelings for him for a long time. The first hint he got that she really had feelings for him, may have been after he slept with her friend while they defended the brothel. In spite of the fact that I think she dropped a lot of hints to him. (I don't know the woman's name. She guest starred on other shows, too.)
Inara. She always tried to avoid telling Mal about her feelings from what I could tell. I think neither person really wanted to complicate things. She was furious (jealous?) whenever Saffron showed up. She was devastated when he slept with someone else. She was terrified for Mal's safety during the duel, even though she really didn't want him to defend her honor. So, on her side at the very least, feelings ran deep.
Unless they suddenly get together in the final episode, or the movie, I doubt it will happen at all.
(And if only this hadn't been taken, I could have written a ship_manifesto essay on it.)

Lady Shiva/Richard Dragon
I can come up with another if you're so inclined, though.

Coming up with another might be a good idea.

Oooooh! John Stewart and Katma Tui.
Or. Guy and Ice.

Tora had a huge crush on him. There was even one strange annual of the comics set 10 years from then, where Tora hoped they would be married, I think.
I really don't know if they would have worked out if they had gotten together before her death. Mainly because of Guy's arrogance. Knowing Tora, she could probably look past that, though. She could see the good in anybody.
I really didn't like them as a couple. I didn't dislike them, either. I really wasn't sure how to take them, probably. Judging by Guy's reaction when he lost Tora in Hell, however, he genuinely did have feelings for her. He was truly devastated.
If she had been brought back from the dead--and had actually made it out of Hell--maybe they would have had a chance together.

Batman/Wonder Woman.
(I'll post my response to it in a few minutes. And yes, I know how strange this is, if anyone stumbles across it.)

She can help get around those little trust issues of his. (As he said in Justice League Unlimited: "I'm a rich kid with issues. Lots of issues.") He can firmly believe that she would not lie to him--she was even the Goddess of Truth at one point in her long life.
On her side, he can show her that things are not always black and white, and there are always, always shades of gray--or shadows in Bruce's case. He helps her learn more about humanity as a whole, and that not all men are dangerous creatures. (And after living on an island of female warriors her entire life, that might have been a bit of an issue between them.)
Diana has always believed in Bruce, even when he hasn't believed in himself. He will put his life on the line to save her, and she will do the same. There is evidence of this throughout Justice League Unlimited, as well as the comics.

You need any others asked, or wait until next time you post this meme? :)

At least, this meme is great for getting my thoughts together about a certain pairing.
