Batman Begins
After Tuesday's trip out to the mall, I discovered that the new theater isn't quite so far away as I had first thought. I had thought it was further out, miles past the mall when it was rebuilt. Apparently not. This is a good thing.
Now, if things go right--I might have the opportunity to go see Batman Begins.
This suddenly happened after I told Mom I wasn't going to read the novelization until I had seen the movie. She decided that wasn't reasonable at all, and that I shouldn't wait for the DVD, no matter how much I was thinking of being patient. (She knows me too well. She knew exactly what I was thinking--and yes, Sean, I do get that from her side of the family.) And she said I should go Tuesday or Wednesday, since that was a better day. (She's right--middle of the week is good.)
I had assumed the price of tickets had skyrocketed since 1994 (last time I went)--apparently the opposite has happened.
*Hopes bad weather/chaos/illness/death doesn't happen, that would cause a change in plans.*
Next week, if all goes well, I should be able to go see Batman Begins.
Yes, that sound you hear in the distance is more than likely squeeing.

You are WAY more patient than I could have been. :)

I've heard it was good. I've managed to avoid any spoilers, thankfully. That's over half my Friends List for the last few days, too.

Best. Batman. Ever.
You'll really enjoy it. I'm still on a fangirl high, and it's been 2 days...

Well hooray! Since it's closer, go see a daytime sesh (to avoid crowds). If not, I'll have to... um... draw a picture of movie-going Morph :P

I didn't say a word hon
Although... named Rachel and born into a family line of telepaths... I've so gotta start calling you "Marvel Girl" or "Phoenix"

Can I have your cinemas? I want a cinema where prices haven't skyrocketed...

*crosses fingers* :)

You wrote this while I was asleep, and you still knew exactly what I was going to say...

That was what I was planning on, actually. Plus, I discovered that it's being shown on two different screens in the theatre. (One starts at 12:50 PM, the other starts at 1:45 PM.) So, I should be able to go to one of those showings.

If given a choice, Phoenix is always a better option.
And Dad has learned to listen whenever a female in the family says they have a bad feeling about something. (He listened once in a parking lot when I had a bad feeling about either of us standing next to the car. I was right, since a truck went through where we would have been--and Mom can do that kind of thing, too.)
