Justice League Unlimited

OK, I missed watching Justice League Unlimited last night. Was it new or a rerun? And if it was new, what happened? Spoilers are welcome.

(I was watching VH1's 40 Most Awesomely Bad Break-up Songs and forgot to watch. I didn't remember to watch until an hour after it was over.)

Full spoilers.

"Panic in the Sky" was new for the US market. It's been shown in Canada.

It was a continuation of the Cadmus/Amanda Waller/Luthor v. JLA storyline.

The senior members (except Batman) agreed to surrender during the investigation of the destruction of Cadmus while the rest of the League worked on repairing the Watchtower. (Flash quotes part of the Batman/Robin version of "Jingle Bells" to explain why Batman doesn't surrender.)

Only Cadmus sent Tea and many copies of the their cloned "heroes" to destroy the Watchtower.

Batman went after Waller and pointed out that Cadmus had been used just in time to have Waller call off the attack.

Tea and Supergirl fought over the reactor core in the Watchtower. Supergirl won.

Batman confronted Luthor who was building himself a new Amazo body. Luthor threw Batman out a window and it looked like Batman was going to plummet to his death, but a woman's hand reached out to save him.

Amanda Waller showed up just in time to blast Luthor's robot body to slag, but she didn't seem to be much of a threat against him.

Amanda scoffed and revealed that she'd seen the light and the senior members of the League showed up to stop Luthor.

Luthor started having spasms. Luthor wasn't the real villain. It was --- BRAINIAC!

Very much worth it. Bulk of the episode is the JL's B-team fending off Ultimen in the Watchtower.

(And you can find the last two weeks online already, too....)

This episode is creepy. It was the first time Lex scared me on JL. m:)

But it's cool. I liked The Huntress taking care of The Question. m:)

It was excellent. the storyline has definite Omac overtones.
