Essay Development
I finished the ![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
ship_manifesto essay. It's almost at 10 pages total. I'll send it to be beta read in just a few moments.
I'm very tired--although, that's probably partly from the heat here. It's currently 118 degrees Fahrenheit. And I think it's supposed to be hotter tomorrow.
Someone? PLEASE send a cold front through.
ETA: If there was any need of proof that my Dad is completely insane, this is it: He's mowing the yard in this heat.
Mom said this: "If he falls over dead while he's out there, all we can do is drag him inside."

It's horribly hot in Virginia as well. The heat index was 117 F today...I spent almost two hours in the garden, and I've been drinking water almost non-stop since...
