Tooth Update

Well, the tooth is doing mostly better today. Yesterday, shortly after it started to get better, it got 10 times worse. Waves, and waves of pain. The only thing that stopped it was ice water--and that was 10 seconds of relief.

Finally, Mom decided I needed a pain pill. Since those knock me out, I waited until right before bed and took half of one.

I went to bed at 8:45 PM, and passed out. I slept from 8:55 PM until 6:50 AM. Yes, I am very, very sensitive to any type of pain medication. My very own coma--no pain, at least.

Still, I'm going to the dentist tomorrow.

Also, I think I'll probably be posting that ship_manifesto essay soon.

Yeah, I was surprised when you told me - I'm assuming these are a little stronger than the panadols I scoff when I get headaches (not that I know a thing beyond "aspirin; bandaids...")

It's apparently something they prescribe right after you have any dental work done. They prescribed it after my four back molars were pulled. I took one. I soon learned that half is more than enough. (It's the one where it made me sick, since I hadn't eaten anything. I had eaten this time, and took half, and it didn't make me sick.)

And also: The dentist opens at 8 AM, so if I can get in that early, I might not be on ICQ.

Actually, I'm surprised you're not camped out there waiting for them to open already... (you? turn up to stuff really early? naaahhh :lol:)

Good luck, and try not to make it appear like the dental techs know less than you ;) *comfort support etc.*

They know me well enough to get things out really early. I'm usually at least 45 minutes early. (And I will be again--once I get through.)

I probably would be camped out there early--if an appointment wasn't needed before I can see the dentist. (And if the building was open earlier than 8 AM.)

oh i feel your pain.. had a tooth problem last week.. wanted to DIE!!!
