Ow...and EW!!!

For the past few hours, I have had a migraine headache. (I think it's the weather.)

Dad made some beef noodle soup for me during this. I ate it--but when I got to the bottom of the liquid, I saw something floating in it.

It was a bug. I couldn't tell if it was an ant, or a tiny fly.

This takes--"Waiter, there's a fly in my soup" to a whole new level. Especially since I nearly ate it, thinking it was a tiny piece of beef.

EW!

(Nowhere in my mood theme was there anything for horrified, traumatized, or stunned. There really needs to be... Full will have to do. Because I am mostly full. And yet, I will never touch soup made by him ever again...)

Ick! and awww *comforts her for both bug and headache*

And never live in the places I did growing up - old houses, impossible to keep bugs out - and mum never tried! I tried to get ants off counters/cabinets etc when I was in the kitchen (as best I could, otherwise I'd be forever spraying), for her the immediate workbench area was enough. The thought of ants crawling over glasses, bowl and that... ick. Both my mum and my aunt are very non-killing-of-household-pests - even to the extent of not killing deadly poisonous spiders...
