Weird Caterpillar
Sorry if this is posted twice on anyone’s Friends List. There was a problem with the image the first time around.
I’ve never heard about this before, so I wanted to share the weirdness. Apparently, there is a type of caterpillar called a Stinging Rose Caterpillar, or a Rose Slug Caterpillar. It’s usually red, with black and blue stripes, and horns. The horns are used to sting and inject poison. So, if you touch it, it’s the equivalent of a sting by a bee or wasp.
Weird. I’ve never heard of it before.
Here is the picture that was published on the front page of the local paper.
It said this in the article:
“If they look like they have spiky hair, they’re going to get you.”
Apparently, they turn into a green and brown moth in the spring.
I just thought it was interesting. They usually hide under leaves, so they could be anywhere.

*looks over her shoulder nervously*
Seriously, I've never heard of these caterpillars either, but the past few years our autumns have been plagued by mutant ladybugs that bite.

That's contradicting everything, I think.

Um. Not that I'm a bug nerd or anything. *eyeshift* But...

"Hey look, it's got spiky hair!"
"Oh no! It's selected you as a victim, and is gonna track you down!"
they could be anywhere
Mwah ha haaa!

If they were more like the pale one, yeah. The redness and shortness makes me think more of Trills. The red one does have the mouth-spikes of a Goa'uld, though - at the left. Now, if it has red glowing eyes and a tendancy to shriek...

Oh noes! They're coming for us!
