spookiest halloween moment:

I was about ten and we used to live in the foothills of california. Our house was surrounded on two sides by trees and the other side overlooked this huge field that sometimes held cows but had about knee high grass right now.

Me and my brother had made a dummy on a rope to throw off the roof at trick or treaters (yes we are mean) and I went up on the roof to help. When I was on the porch it was totally dark but when I climbed up on the roof there was a huge full moon just coming up and the field of grass had turned into a field of tulle fog. It looked just like a movie with this big red moon and knee high fog so thick you couldn't see the ground.

At this point I decided maybe I didn't want to be on the roof so I climbed down and out in the trees were two silver reflecting eyes. I was definitely getting creeped out by this point so I sat and watched and they never moved or blinked and I ran in the house. My brothers windows looked out that way so for hours I kept checking and they were still there. But in the morning htere was nothing there and nothing else that would have reflected light that way.
