Tornadoes
Apparently, around 2 AM last night, Henderson, Kentucky was hit by a tornado which wiped out a lot of the area.
Then, Crittenden County was hit. That county is just a few miles from where I am, and phones and internet were down for a while. From what I've heard, there was a lot of damage. There weren't any sirens going off where I am, so I didn't hear about it until this morning.
Thankfully, the tornadoes didn't hit this county, and the phones and internet are back.
ETA: Just checked, and it's on the front page of MSNBC's website.

Crittenden County, Henderson, Kentucky, Evansville, Indiana, and St. Louis, Missouri were hit the hardest from what I've heard.

And it is great to know that the worst of the weather missed your county and that other than the temporary loss of phones and internet for a bit, that are otherwise safe and well.
