Update On The Storms

According to the news, it hasn't been this bad since the week of tornadoes and hail storms at 2 AM, back in 2003. (I was right! I had mentioned that to Mom earlier.)

The first tornado hit around 1:30, and lasted 30 minutes. I spent the time in the hallway on the floor with my sister, since we don't have a basement. Covered my head with a thick, and heavy blanket.

After the tornado left, I started reading. (This doesn't surprise anyone who knows me.)

The second wave is due to hit at 3:43 PM. It is now 3:10 PM, so I should log out in a couple of minutes.

Based on the news, everything should be over a little after 5 PM. We'll see. I'm hoping it doesn't come back during the night.

(Tornado siren now! Leaving!)

Hope you're okay. I've been through plenty of tornados. Not fun. There have been quite a few in the D.C. area of all places!!!! O_o
