Frightening Wonder Woman Pilot
A couple of people on my Friends List have posted this. But for anyone who hasn’t seen it before, here is the horror in all its glory. This is a link to a 1967 demo film of Wonder Woman. It’s not that long, but you need to watch it to the very end to get the true horror. That link takes you to the background behind everything—to see the demo, scroll to the bottom after reading through it all.
I know that my Mom walked out in the middle when I showed her. I could barely make it through once, so I’m just sharing the horror.
To give you an idea of how bad it is, imagine Wonder Woman strutting back and forth and making kissy faces at her own reflection. Now imagine her madly flailing as she tries to lift off and fly.
Until you watch, you won’t know just how bad it really is. Oh, it can also be seen over at Youtube.
The best part is the announcer--same guy from the Adam West version of Batman.
"She knows she has the wisdom of Athena. She *thinks* she has the beauty of Aphrodite."

It's strangely and scarily funny to look at now. Not funny in the way that it intended, I don't think, but funny.
