The cat does her taxes. Dad had locked himself in the bedroom to try to work on taxes, and the cat was in there. She decided to lie in the middle of everything, and Dad decided it was time for a break.



And remember that week of heavy rain I mentioned a while back? Here are the pictures of that. In the first picture, look at the edge of the street. There should be a ditch next to it, but it’s flooded. It takes a lot of rain for the yard itself to flood. And see that ugly and tree-like bush? Well, after a week and a half of rain like that, it’s huge.



Another picture—probably a week later. The ugly tree-like bush is now huge. It's had enough water for a while.

I just checked, and that's exactly what it's called. So far, it has never bloomed even once.
