We're Having A Heat Wave...

...or we were for the last couple of weeks.

At 1 PM it was 111 degrees Fahrenheit--no, that is not an exaggeration. Around 3 PM a thunderstorm came through, and now we are down to 72 degrees Fahrenheit.

Sadly, part of the garage is now flooded because of all the rain, so the cat isn't happy...but at least we can breathe!

My Dad's Aunt has been singing that song all week over here as well, lol. Though our temps haven't been anywhere near that high, because then I would probably die.

The rain though I know what you mean, our entire area is so rain soaked, I LOVE it, plus the thunder and the lightning, but you know Im probably the only one, lol.

I'm happy you guys are a bit cooler now though

Here we got up to 99 , with the heat index no telling though because of the high humidity. Usually when it does rain it only does so for 5 minutes and temporarily cools down but then shoots right back up.

It's hot here too.
