The Return Of Nostalgia
I decided to go through Youtube and find a few more old things. Unless otherwise noted, most of these are the intro to the shows.
Count Duckula.
Bionic Six
Wildcats intro--it briefly aired on the USA network.
Tale Spin
Gargoyles
Mummies Alive--never seen this one before, but someone might have liked it. It looks similar to another one that I watched a bit of in the early 90's. Something called Darkstalkers.
Street Sharks--I briefly saw this on USA back in the early 90’s.
Apparently, there was a cartoon of The Incredible Hulk in the 90’s.
The Tick
Tiny Toon Adventures
Duck Tales. Anyone else seen the movie? I think it was called Duck Tales: Treasure of the Lost Lamp.
Chip n’ Dale Rescue Rangers.
Denver The Last Dinosaur
Fraggle Rock
Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego. I saw a bit of the cartoon, but I preferred the original version, with real people. And wasn't there a video game, too? I think I remember playing it in middle school.
The Wuzzles
Paw Paw Bears--I have never heard of this one.
Super Mario Brothers Super Show intro--favorite episode was where (in the real person part) Luigi tried to kill Mario after getting possessed by a demon.
Intro to Dungeons and Dragons--I never saw this, since I wasn’t allowed near anything related to it when I was little.
Adventures of the Little Koala.
The Little Prince
The Herculoids--looks vaguely familiar.
Vytor. I never caught this one.
GI Joe. I think I saw a few episodes and mostly collected the cards.
The 90’s liveaction version of Zorro. After watching it, I remembered that I watched it all the time when it originally aired on either The Family Channel or WGN. If you go through this person’s uploads, you can watch at least one episode.
Ahhh...Real Monsters.
Darkwing Duck
Alf intro. I’ve never seen this show, but I know who Alf is because he was on Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue, and a few collect phone call commericals. Maybe someone here liked him.
Beetlejuice
Freakazoid Episode 1 Part 1.
Freakazoid Episode 1 Part 2
Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics—Snow White and Rose Red part 1
Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics—Snow White and Rose Red part 2
Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics—Snow White and Rose Red part 3
The ending of The Little Mermaid. Not the Disney version, but the one from the late 70’s where she dies and turns to sea foam. It’s a little fuzzy, but it’s the best I could find. And here’s a song from the middle of the movie called When A Mermaid Comes Of Age.
Tazmania.
Dinosaurs. I read somewhere that the voice of “The Baby” is also the voice of Elmo from Sesame Street.
Sharon, Lois And Bram clip.
Apparently, an episode of You Can’t Do That On Television was banned. You can watch it at Youtube in three parts. If anyone knows why this episode was banned, please let me know, because this one seems tame compared to more recent shows.

Wow. They should! The Herculoids used to air in a cartoon set with Space Ghost and Thundarr, as I recall. Oh, and some bit about 5 teens that flew around in space... Ah youth.

Well, no problem. Still it was a gentle reminder of just how old I have become...
As the Japanese would say, natsukashii!

Last year or so, someone did a vid to the Duck Tales theme for the Mighty Ducks hockey movies. It was hysterical in the "I'm surprised no one has thought of this before" way. Also James Bond vid to the Inspector Gadget theme song.

HA! Adventures of the Little Koala. I REMEMBER THAT! It was SO much better than Maple Town.

What about Sumarai Pizza Cats?
Oh!Have you ever stumbled across any episodes of...of...oh dammit. I can't remember suddenly but it had this little half bird guy in it and the leader drove a race car. It was definatly Manga influenced.
And the name will occur to me when I have NO access to the internet.

Not sure what the one with a bird guy would be.
Samurai Pizza Cats? I definitely never saw that one, but I checked Youtube.
Here’s the intro. Is the guy talking in the background the same guy that played Uncle Arthur on Bewitched? It sounds like him.

Denver? Ahh, there's a blast from the very early nineties past. Would you believe that in the Perth round of auditions for the latest season of Australian Idol someone dressed up in a Denver suit and auditioned with this tune?
Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego - yes, I played this game in the still-early-but-not-quite-as-early-nineties, when I started high school. A group of us (well, two of us plus whoever was hanging around each day) would play on one of the library monochrome Macs - and then rush out to the encyclopedia to answer the questions it'd ask before giving you a promotion.
Super Mario Brothers Super Show intro--favorite episode was where (in the real person part) Luigi tried to kill Mario after getting possessed by a demon.
Figures. ;) :P
Alf - yes, I liked Alf, back when I was what 7? Mum couldn't stand him though.
And yes, I'd imagine YCDTOT would look tame by today's "standards". *snark* Well, even tracking things like The Simpsons over the years, later seasons have stuff that the early ones would've imagined their way around.

I can believe it. Mostly because they were showing highlights from American Idols around the world last year, and that was one of them.
...and then rush out to the encyclopedia to answer the questions it'd ask before giving you a promotion.
Sounds like my class. It was in the class of the teacher that threw things, but for that game he allowed people to ask each other which was the right answer, and look things up.
