RIP
Sadly, it looks like my grandmother passed away earlier today. She had been in the nursing home the last few years, and this morning when Mom went to see her she said that she didn't wake up, but opened one eye, but that may have been a reflex.
Her respiration and blood pressure had gone down, and she finally passed away.
May she rest in peace.
Just for those who didn't know, a couple years ago she went into the hospital because of severe pains that turned out to be kidney failure, and survived but had to go into the nursing home. So she'd broken her hips twice, had kidney failure again, gone into a diabetic coma a few times, and had maybe 7 (or more) strokes.
Not sure of the exact number anymore, but it left her weak, and these last few weeks she had slowly gotten worse.
ETA: We now have the funeral scheduled for Sunday at 2 PM--that was quick. It will be simply graveside.

I hope you're able to have some time with your family on Sunday, the only upseide to funerals (in my family at least) is that you get to see the people that you only see at weddings and funerals.
*hugs for you*
