Because of a certain metaquotes post involving Tigger, I was thinking about Winnie The Pooh.

I remembered a certain show I watched in 1st or 2nd grade (back in the 80's), with real people in Winnie The Pooh costumes. The title was something like Don't Talk to Strangers. I didn't find anything on that title at IMDB or Wikipedia.

Does anyone else remember this?

Yes, yes I do remember that show. Man, that was back when you had to pay for the Disney Channel... unfortunately, since my parents didn't, I only got to see maybe three episodes of it, and I have no idea what the title of it was.

That's the one! Thank you--their special was apparently called Too Smart For Strangers, so I was close. At some point, they did say "Don't talk to strangers," hence the confusion.

The House at Pooh Corner on the Disney Channel back in the 80s featured real people in Pooh costumes. They might have had a Don't Talk to Strangers episode.
