Nostalgia Strikes Back

After quite a while, here is another nostalgia post, thanks to Youtube.

Moon Dreamers--the opening credits. I haven’t seen this cartoon since I was around 3, and most people don’t remember it at all.

Moon Dreamers end credits.

A clip from Huggabunch.

And I searched for Rose Petal Place, but the only thing I could find was an old commercial for the toys. I never knew they made any.

Still no sign of finding anything about an old cartoon from 1986 called Star Fairies. In an amusing twist, one of the main characters was voiced by Drew Barrymore--at least, according to IMDB.

And if anyone wants me to try to find any extremely rare cartoons via Youtube, just let me know and I’ll see if I can hunt them down.

at first I thought I didn't remember Moon Dreamers either, but the first girl with the big pink hair is SO FAMILIAR. And then the Lion and the Polar Bear in the end credits did too. I think we might have had toys of them. Or at least the polar bear.

And damn. Huggabunch was always superior to Cabbage Patch Kids to me, back in the day. XD

I have some of the Moon Dreamer toys. I could never remember what the show was called, though. I'll have to check those clips out when I get home.

*Snicker* I just found the opening credits for one of my childhood favourites - G-Force: Battle of the Planets!

Yes, yes, I know, very embarrasssing! It says, on youtube, it's an eighties show but it's seventies all the way, baby :-)

And, of course, there is 'Wanderly Wagon'. A children's programme that only a bunch of crazed Irish people could come up with! I guess there was a lot of wacky baccy flying around in RTE (the national television channel) at the time.
